The Admáen, or (X), mostly known in histories of Atheryin simply as The Elves, are a race of Elves formerly native to Southeastern Atheryin. Since the destruction of their homeland by the Himara nomads in the Brave Era, they have typically sought shelter among the Kingdoms of the Aednun instead, existing in small relict populations throughout the world, typically working as highly skilled tradesmen and minor nobles - an ignoble fate for a race that once called itself as the pinnacle of civilization.

Physiology

Being the oldest extant race of Elves, the Admáen have a combination of features now common to other Elvish races throughout the known world. Appearance-wise, they are more similar to the Aednun than to the Dramer or Tallin. They typically have thick, dark hair, although it is not unheard of for an Admáen to possess light brown or even blond hair. Their skin is often a dull white, although in sunnier areas it tends to transform into a light Gold colour.

They often possess thin, angular faces, although they tend to be somewhat more similar to a human in appearance than their descendant races are. Admáen are typically tall, however they are often slim, with their biology naturally tending towards being thin. Male Admáen, although far more muscular than the females of the race, could only ever be described as lean.
